The Villagers draw 3-3 against Darlington RA.

With 3 points their minimum aim to stave off relegation Wolviston started in determined style by taking the game to visitors Darlington RA. They attacked from the off and after only 2 mins Mikey McGee found himself in a good position but shot straight at keeper Tyler Dickinsons legs followed a min later with Paul Rodhams shot cleared off the line by defender Liam Murray. On 11 mins a long clearance from keeper Chris Davidson was flicked on by Matty Wilshaw to McGee whose shot was saved at full length by Dickinson. In reply home keeper Davidson made an incredible save to deny Ciaran Dixon by diving swiftly to push the ball away at the near post. R.A. took the lead in the 18th min after good football by Dixon created a chance for Ross Howell to score from the 6 yard box. Wolviston equalised in the 30th min after a tremendous first time ball from Josh Rowbotham put Matty Wilshaw clear who delicately chipped the advancing Dickinson to find the bottom corner. A minute later a great first time ball from Callum Blair put Mikey McGee away who duly scored with an angled drive. Incredibly with the 3rd goal in 3 mins R.A. equalised when Howell crossed to find Alex O'Hagan who rose high to powerfully head home. On 36 mins with the game swinging end to end Davidson denied Dixon by diving bravely at his feet to prevent R.A. from retaking the lead. The visitors however did go in front 3 mins before the break when overlapping full back Liam Murray chipped over keeper Davidson.
H.T. 2-3
The start of the 2nd period commenced very evenly with neither side creating many chances but with Wolviston slowly improving on their first half performance. It took until the 72nd min when Rodham passed to Wilshaw who immediately crossed to McGee but he snatched at his shot and put his effort wide. The speedy striker made amends with 5 mins remaining after receiving a lovely ball from Luke Brown and although his initial shot hit the post he followed up to knock home the rebound and bring Wolvo level.
This hard earned point now means that Wolvo need to win their final 3 games to stand the slightest chance of avoiding relegation.
