The Villagers beat Farringdon Detached 6-0.

In a must win game for Wolviston they took the game to visitors Farringdon by playing attacking football. After only 8 mins visiting keeper Aidan Mutch saved from Chris Cotterill followed a minute later with the Farra keeper denying Mitchell Noble by saving with his legs. In reply Farras James Carr went on a mazy dribble beating 3 Wolvo defender but hit the post with his final shot. On 23 mins Farras Reece Blakey broke clear but shot well wide. In the 28th min Mitchell Noble put Mikey McGee clean through but keeper Mutch dived full length to push his strong drive away for a corner. Wolvo took the lead in the 30th min after Chris Cotterill put Matty Wilshaw free on the right who cut the ball back to Matthew Bendelow to sweep home from close range. With 10 mins remaining of the half Mitchell Noble put Matty Wilshaw through who timed his run to perfection and slotted home under the body of Mutch.

Within 2 mins of the restart perserverance by Matty Wilshaw was rewarded after he got to the by line and knocked the ball into the path of Mikey McGee who made no mistake from 10 yards to increase Wolvos lead. There then came a 15 min spell of substitutions by Wolvo Manager Paul Larkin who ensured that all 5 subs took some part in the game. Farra had 2 attempts within 5 mins in the 70th min but first Blakey blazed wide followed by Darren Hunters strong drive well held by Wolvo keeper Elliott Coils. A corner in the 74th min by Mitchell Noble caused mayhem in the Farra defence which resulted in Cal Blair smashing home from 15 yards. In the 80th min a cross from Kai Wright was headed powerfully goalwards by sub Josh Shilam but keeper Mutch made a tremendous save one handed. With 5 mins remaining a cheeky little back heal from Cal Blair found Jamie Roberts who nudged home from close range. The scoring was complete with 2 mins remaining after a deep cross from the right by Jamie Roberts fell to sub Kai Wright who crashed the ball under the body of Mutch.
