This is selected obviously by the supporters and also allows the committee to cast a vote as usual. This always differs wildly from the players’ and managers’ choice – and this year is no exception.

A very popular player with the squad and supporters, who has a great personality off the field of play and is a pleasure to converse with.
He is also a regular choice and one of the cornerstones of a settled team, with over 31 appearances to his name this season and registering a cheeky six goals in the process.

On the field of play, he is becoming a different person with a changed personality – as he becomes a midfield terrier, challenging for every ball as he flies into tackles, which on many occasions this season has earned him several yellow cards.

Obviously a popular choice with the supporters – and the junior kids love him.

The winner: Robbie Gratton.
