Wolviston FC are proud to announce the launch of the club’s very first Ladies team ahead of the 2026/27 season, an exciting new chapter in the continued growth of the club both on and off the pitch.

Based at the ever-growing Metcalfe Park, the new side will provide a competitive environment for women’s football while also creating an important pathway for the next generation of players already coming through the club.

The club currently has young girls representing Wolviston FC within both our Under 11 Girls team and Under 14 Mixed team, and the creation of a Ladies side gives those players something to aspire to as they continue their football journeys. It also provides visible role models within the club structure and strengthens our long-term vision of building a thriving football community for the future.

Wolviston FC has seen significant growth in recent years and continues to invest in creating a positive football environment for players of all ages. Metcalfe Park has become one of the area’s most welcoming grassroots football venues, offering excellent pitches, quality facilities and a fantastic atmosphere on matchdays and training nights alike.

As a club run entirely by volunteers, community remains at the heart of everything we do. From coaches and committee members to parents and supporters, everyone involved plays a part in helping the club continue to move forward.

The new Ladies team will be built around ambition, commitment and togetherness, and we are now inviting anyone interested in being part of the journey to get in touch.

Open training sessions will be announced soon, giving prospective players the opportunity to meet the coaching team, see the facilities and become part of the next exciting step for Wolviston FC.
