Trying several new players during the game Wolvo matched the fit , young side of Boro Rangers U23s for large parts of the game. Home keeper Richard Cass made 2 incredible saves early on in the game before actually opening the scoring on 9 mins. A huge clearance upfield from the shot stopper bounced over the Rangers defence and as their keeper came out to claim the ball it too bounced high over his hands and into the net. This spurred the visitors into action with a leveller on 33 mins with a superb strike from a young wide player.
