Coxhoe started on the front foot and took the game to Wolviston with 2 early shots from Aaron Flounders and Harry Keeins both of which went wide of the target. Wolvo replied with a shot by Harry Minto which also went wide. The Visitors however went in front on 14 mins when Minto fed Elliott Pledger whose first time shot cannoned off the bar with the ball falling to Louis Evans who swept home the rebound. Within a minute Coxhoe equalised with Lewis Martin striking home powerfully from the edge of the box. Wolvo soon went back in front with Pledger in the middle feeding Evans who outran the Coxhoe defence to square the ball to Amoo Oluwakorede who smashed it past Wolvo old boy Dan Hebden in the home goal to record his first goal for Wolvo. Within 3 mins Coxhoe levelled again when Harry Keeins beat the offside trap to sweep home past Waterman. Coxhoe then went in front a minute into added on time after a mistake in the Wolvo defence allowed Adam Flounders to bundle home from close range.
H.T. 3-2
Right from the restart Wolvo equalised after a throw in by Stewart Bath found Evans who laid the ball off to Minto who in turn crossed to Charlie Thomson to stroke home from the edge of the 6 yard box. In an end to end game Coxhoe once again went in front in the 53rd min with Lewis Martin using his physical size and power to smash an unstoppable shot past the despairing dive of Waterman. A corner taken in the 73rd min by Josh Chambers was headed high over the bar by Minto. 2 mins later a ball deflected to sub Callum Blair whose shot was kicked off the line by keeper Hebden with Wolvo pushing hard for the equaliser. They did however deservedly level in the 78th min when Pledger burst down the left and squared to Harry Minto who swivelled and shot into the corner. With 4 mins remaining a Pledger shot was comfortably held by Hebden to ensure a point each for both teams.
