Wolviston played hosts to bottom of the table Durham AFC who despite their problems gave the home team a competitive game. Wolviston attacked from the off and were rewarded after only 2 mins when Elliot Pledger found Callum Blair who swivelled and drove a powerful angled shot into the bottom corner across keeper Jamie Barron making his debut for Durham. On 12 mins Wolvo keeper Kallen Waterman made a smart stop from Durhams dangerman Bruno de-souza-Assis followed by a quick counter attack with Pledger racing clear but shooting wide. Durham kept trying to get back into the game and Warren Brewster was unfortunate to see his effort sail inches over the bar. The visitors deservedly equalised on 39 mins when slack defending resulted in Waterman bringing down Toby Sparrow to concede a penalty which earned the keeper a yellow card. Lachlan Stoker confidently drove home the spot kick. With 2 mins of the half remaining Wolvo missed an absolute sitter when Pledger received the ball from Ben Priestley but somehow hit the post from close range.

Durham came out in the second period in determined fashion and attacked Wolvo from the off but it was the home team that retook the lead slightly against run of play in the 58th min. Blair played Charlie Thompson through who kept his feet well and stroked home from 10 yards. This goal seemed to deflate Durham and they quickly tired conceding again a few mins later after Priestley found Callum Blair who accelerated down the centre and slotted home his second of the game. 4 mins later Blair returned the favour by finding Priestley wide on the left who turned sharply and smashed into the roof of the net. In the 75th min Blair passed to Pledger who in turn cut the ball back into the path of Charlie Thompson who tapped into an empty net. 9 mins remaining a strong 20 yard free kick from Elliott Pledger was fumbled over the line by keeper Barron. On 86 mins Durhams woes continued when conceding a penalty after Pledger was fouled by Daniel Toal and skipper Jae Wilson confidently stroked home the spot kick. On the stroke of full time Elliott Pledger tried his luck with a long range shot which sailed over the keeper from 25 yards to record Wolvos 8th of the day.
