Wolvo started on the front foot against a youthful Darlo F.C. Youth team and in the very first minute Louie Evans saw his first time shot well saved by keeper Liam Mason, however Wolvo took the lead on 5 mins after tenacity by Elliott Pledger was rewarded when he turned the full back superbly and curled a beauty over keeper Mason from a difficult angle. 2 mins later Mason made another good stop from Evans with Wolvo rampant at this stage. A corner by Pledger in the 19h min was headed wide by Charlie Thompson before Wolvo increased their lead. Good work down the left by Evans bore fruit when his final pass found Harry Minto who bundled home at the near post. Another corner by Pledger found Joe Simpson at the far post who sadly headed on to the woodwork. With 4 mins remaining Pledger was brought down by Liam Murray to concede a penalty which reliable skipper Jae Wilson dispatched with aplomb. 2 mins into added on time Kalen Waterman made a tremendous save from Danny Rutherford before Darlo pulled a goal back a minute later with Jack Mortimer scoring. A minute later Louie Evans looking suspiciously offside kept his cool to smash home Wolvos 4th of the half.

Wolvo started the 2nd period where they left off in constant attacking mode.Man of the match Pledger burst forward but his effort went inches over the bar. He soon made amends in the 69th min when receiving the ball from Sam Simpson and cutting through and scoring across the keeper and recording his 2nd of the game. Waterman was called into action in the 72nd min when saving a strong drive from Bradley Sylvester. On the stroke of full time a tentative shot from sub Joe Sparke wasn't dealt with and Liam Murray was on hand to tap home Darlos 2nd of the match.
