What a fantastic evening at Metcalfe Park! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the inaugural Duchenne UK Charity Cup.

Firstly, we’d like to thank Billingham Town FC for being excellent opponents and helping us launch what we hope will become a brilliant annual fixture. We wish everyone at the club the very best for the season ahead.

To everyone who came through the gates, bought 50/50 tickets, donated and cheered on both teams – thank you. Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve raised over £300 for a fantastic cause.

And finally, congratulations to our lads!

A superb performance ensured that the inaugural Duchenne UK Charity Cup will remain proudly at Metcalfe Park for its first year.

While the result is always nice, tonight was about so much more than football. It was about two local clubs coming together, our community getting behind a great cause, and showing the power of grassroots football to make a real difference.

Thank you once again to everyone who played a part in making the evening such a success. Here’s to making next year’s Duchenne UK Charity Cup even bigger and better!
