Safeguarding 1 of 3

1. Safeguarding at Wolviston FC

At Wolviston FC, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. As an FA affiliated club, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where all children and young people can enjoy football and develop with confidence.

We follow the safeguarding policies and guidance set out by The Football Association and our County FA, ensuring that all players, coaches and volunteers understand their role in keeping children safe. This includes having trained welfare officers, safer recruitment processes, and clear procedures for reporting concerns.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Whether you are a player, parent, coach or volunteer, we all play a part in creating a positive environment where children feel safe, respected and able to speak up.

The sections below explain how this works in practice at the club.

If something doesn’t feel right, it’s important to act – we’re here to listen and support.
